Measuring the Year in Feet

There's nothing like little baby feet!

A friend of mine from work also works for an amazing company called Piggies and Paws.  They take kids' handprints and footprints and turn them into beautiful picture keepsakes.  She came and did Lindsay's footprints when she was only 2 weeks old!  We bought them for all the grandparents and great-grandparents, and everyone loves them.  I highly recommend either having or going to a Piggies and Paws party with your little one if you haven't been!

Anyway, the adorable pictures she does gave me the inspiration to document Lindsay's first year by her feet - something really cute and a little different!  They also make a great addition to the monthly pictures we take.  Now, I do not have the same kind of talent my friend has, so mine are NOTHING like what she does.  I just put Lindsay's footprint onto something I've cut out of cardstock... not nearly as cool as her creations!  Here are my first 5 months in feet:

Footprints from the hospital -- the original baby book prints.

1 Month - Our valentine. :)
2 Months - Clover for St. Patrick's Day
3 Months - Celebrating Easter
4 Months - May Flowers!

5 Months -- Flip-Flop for Summer
I bought two collage frames (each with 6 openings) for these to all go in, and we hung them in the hallway upstairs.  I'll post a picture once I get them all filled in.  It's so fun to watch her foot grow from month to month!

May Meet-and-Greets

This one is a little behind, but it was a little crazy in May with the end of school!  During May, Lindsay got to meet Aunt Jenny, Tommy, and her cousins Dustin and Krystin (who are our age) and their new addition, Bryan.  Even though the meetings were on two different days, yes, we were back at the same restaurant!  If you have't been to Crust Pizza, you need to get there soon because it's awesome! :)

Picnic at the Park

Yay for summer!  The last two weekends, we have had dinner "picnics" at Rob Fleming Park.  It has a great covered pavilion with picnic tables, a fun little playground, and a nice walking trail that goes around a pond.  Even though it's been hot outside, it's been pretty pleasant right at sunset out at the park.  The best part -- it's not crowded at all!!  We hope to make it a weekend tradition for our family!
