This year, our family headed over to San Antonio for Spring Break. It was nice to get out of town for a few days and see our old stomping grounds. And even though she had an epic cold (notice the red nose in all of her pictures), Lindsay had a blast visiting Sea World for the first time!
We stayed at the Westin La Cantera -- what an awesome place! Our room was in the "Casitas", which were basically little bungalow-style rooms around a private pool area down the hill from the main hotel. Since the rooms were separated from the main building, each room came with a golf cart to make it easier to get around the grounds. It was a fun and unexpected treat!

Look out world, someone thinks she is ready to drive! |
We spent both days of our trip taking Lindsay to Sea World. When Todd and I lived in San Antonio after college, we would visit Sea World all the time, so it was fun to bring her here for her first visit!

Sea World has a place for smaller kids called the "Bay of Play", and it features the Sesame Street characters in various rides and character interactions. The highlight of our trip was having breakfast with our Sesame Street friends!

Lindsay's day was officially made when we spotted the carousel -- in her mind, carousels rank right up there with animal cookies and Disney princesses! :) I lost count of how many times we rode it, but she loved doing it over and over. She was not, however, very cooperative when I tried to capture the moment on camera!

She would look everywhere but at the camera... |

"Mom, seriously? We're busy riding the horse over here!" |
What a fun little Spring Break trip! We are excited to go back and visit San Antonio again soon!
