6 Months!

Summer has definitely flown by -- Lindsay is already 6 months old!  According to the doctor, she weighs 16 lbs, 3 oz and 26 inches tall.  She is definitely getting more and more expressive every day!  It has been so much fun to have the summer off to spend the days with her and watch her grow.  

6 Months Old!

Things Lindsay can do now:

- rolls around a lot when she's sleeping... most of the time, she is on her belly facing a totally different direction that where she started the night!

- likes to spend more and more time on her tummy

- can almost sit up by herself

- chews on EVERYTHING!

- can get her toes into her mouth... and does it almost every chance she gets!

- added "gurgling" noises to her vocabulary

- went for her first swim in the swimming pool.  She LOVES to splash in the pool... which has made bath time way messier than it used to be!

- went to the 4th of July parade and loved watching all the people and marching bands

- wears size 2 diapers and 6 month clothes

Summer is great because we sometimes go meet Daddy for lunch during the week!

We LOVE to go shopping, especially at Target!  So many bright, colorful things to look at!

She has started "devouring" books lately...

This has become a Saturday ritual... napping with Daddy on the couch!

Lindsay also went swimming for the first time this month!

We love you Lindsay!  You are such a blessing to our family and we can't wait to see what all you learn in the next 6 months!!
