We've had some major milestones this month... we started sitting up, moved to a big(ger) bathtub, AND started eating solid foods!
One night when Lollie and Pops (my parents) were visiting, we were sitting in her room talking and all of the sudden... she just sat and balanced all by herself! We were absolutely shocked! She does tend to fall backwards, though, so Pops had his hand out there to catch her just in case.
Our new, big(ger) bathtub... we were getting too big for the baby bathtub, but we're not quite ready to move to the big bathtub yet, so inflatable duck tub it was! This one is actually designed to sit in the real tub, but she's a little wobbly when she gets to kicking and splashing, so we still take baths on the counter for now. Oh and did I mention that it quacks? She loves it!
Last but not least, we've started eating solid foods. Here we are on our very first attempt at rice cereal... she looks so small sitting in the high chair!
Mmm, messy and delicious! She's gotten the hang of eating off of a spoon this week, and it looks like we'll be moving on to veggies soon!
